Real Estate – Delivered Projects

Regent Capital has enabled the funding of over £600M of commercial property, comprising more than a million square feet across office space, city centre hotels, and key distribution hubs. This funding has enabled the development of new properties and renovated existing ones, including listed buildings in city centres and out of town business parks.

Regent Capital’s focus has been predominantly in regeneration areas, including joint ventures with the public sector, with the majority of projects delivered across the north of England and Central Scotland. They have developed and funded renovations of existing city centre buildings, including listed buildings and new build business parks and distribution hubs.

Regent Capital has sensitively renovated a number of listed city centre buildings including the former Lewis’s department store in Liverpool, for a mixed-use scheme, re-branded ‘The Circus’, and a listed building in the centre of Bradford, pre-let to Provident Financial Pic for their new office HQ. In Glasgow Regent Capital funded and developed St Andrew House Sauchiehall, a 210 bed Premier Inn hotel, with ground floor retail.

Premier Inn Buchanan Galleries Glasgow – Hotel and Retail

Regent Capital forward funded and redeveloped an 89,000 sq. ft. obsolete office tower in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. They converted the offices to deliver a 210 bed hotel pre-let to Premier Inn, together with ground floor retail.

The project was completed on time and on budget.

The Circus and Department, Ranelagh Street, Liverpool – Office Retail and Leisure

Regent Capital Plc funded The Circus and is developing it with joint venture partners, Augur Group in collaboration with Liverpool City Council and Network Rail. The Circus encompasses 400,000 sq. ft. of the Grade II listed Lewis’s Building and its retained iconic façade as well as the surrounding land, to deliver a retail and leisure destination in the heart of the city, in conjunction with the expansion of Liverpool Central Station.

The Watson Building Liverpool – Grade A Office

Regent Capital forward funded the conversion and renovation of the Watson Building, a former department store, which was converted to deliver 75,000 sq. ft. of Grade A, BREEAM “Very Good” modern office space.

The development sits at the hub of a major new focus within Liverpool city centre, forming the gateway to the Knowledge Quarter.

Regent Capital Funded and developed 253,000 sq ft of business space at Spectrum Business Park with JV partner Hillford.

Regent Capital forward funded the conversion, renovation and extension of part of a listed former Cooperative department store in the heart of Bradford. The 40,000 sq. ft. Grade A office building was pre-let to Provident Financial Plc. PWC are sub-tenants in the building.
