Since 2004, Regent Capital has enabled the funding of over £500,000,000 of commercial property, comprising more than a million square feet across office space, city centre hotels, and key distribution hubs. This funding has both developed new properties and renovated existing ones, including listed buildings in city centres and out of town business parks.
These developments have attracted tenants such as Premier Inn, Adagio, Eddie Stobart, Amazon, Network Rail, Pret-A-Manger, and various government departments including the NHS.
In the media and entertainment sectors we have created a number of bespoke opportunities through which we have successfully raised funds for a film and television portfolio with combined production budgets in excess of £80,000,000. These productions have attracted major international deals with distributors including Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Sony Entertainment, Entertainment Film Distributors and the BBC, as well as original television content for ITV Studios and Netflix.
In 2015 we secured a corporate collaboration with production company Catalyst Global Media through whom we are also able to secure a content pipeline for unique investment opportunities in the music and video game industries as well as television and film.
Notable highlights include winning prestigious awards at major festivals such as the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, won by Ken Loach.
Smart Clean Energy
Through our investments we have helped seed and grow renewable energy developments, delivering over 100 mega watts of renewable energy. That’s enough to power more than 50,000 homes. As a result, Regent Capital enjoys a network of relationships allowing us to access a broad spectrum of renewable energy investments including Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and the provision of private wire installations.
Disruption in energy markets is opening up new revenue streams in energy and property. To capitalise on the opportunity this presents for our investors, Regent Capital has formed a joint venture with New Resource Partners. New Resource Partners advise on energy transition including renewables, smart energy infrastructure (SEI), local energy markets, and the confluence of property and energy.
Smart energy infrastructure is a key new asset class, including battery storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, demand response, interconnectors, and flexible power plants, to name a few. Without the right combination of SEI assets, the intermittency of wind and solar will block the achievement of governments renewable energy targets.
At the core of NRP expertise lie proprietary local and national energy system and revenue modelling tools, to assist in assessing investable projects. NRP works with investors, governments and large energy users in the UK and overseas.Learn more
